Energetics Technology Center Grants $500,000 to CSM to Help Develop STEM Workforce
Government seeks to foster future workforce that can staff science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) positions for local military projects and contracts
LA PLATA, Md. (Jan. 14, 2008) — The College of Southern Maryland (CSM) has received a five-year, $500,000 grant from the Charles County’s Energetics Technology Center (ETC). The grant is to be used to develop an energetics workforce program that can meet the challenges of new technology development for military warfare.
