Advanced Energetics Processes

To meet the needs for new energetic systems of the 21st century, research and innovation are key to reaching the goals for safety, performance, environmental protection and reliability. As demand for more powerful, controllable, low collateral damage, and specialized explosive technology emerges to support unmanned vehicle weaponization, new energetics materials and processes will be required. In addition, to support explosive ordnance disposal and personal protection equipment developments, research into the energy release and coupling processes will lead to more effective employment of current and future energetic systems.
