Information Systems
Organizations need effective information systems. This is primarily due to the rapid growth of data, which according to some estimates is averaging 30-50% annually. A Gartner Research survey identifies data growth as the biggest data center infrastructure challenge facing large enterprises. At the same time, data complexity demands powerful tools to mine useful information and discover hidden knowledge in organizational repositories.
Organizations can proactively plan to meet their growing information needs – or attempt to react to challenges created by exploding data growth. ETC works closely with clients to evaluate their current and future information systems needs and offers unbiased advice on applicable products and services. Our goal is to help clients discover and use critical, non-obvious pieces of useful information in databases and data warehouses to help in the decision making process.
