Disabled Veteran Focus
ETC has partnered with major Naval Commands in the National Capital Region to advance the Learning and Employment Center (LEC) initiative. The LEC initiative is focused on the disabled veteran and the support needed to provide these deserving individuals with career opportunities within local commands and various naval support activities. With the LEC’s national scope, future opportunities will eventually reach beyond the scope of southern Maryland.
The Potomac Workforce Education and Recruitment (PoWER) Center is hosted at ETC and the Center’s Program Manager and staff are dedicated to being the catalyst for placing disabled veterans into fulfilling jobs. Our Program Manager is a service connected disabled veteran of the Iraq Campaign and highly committed to providing our clients with the highest level of service. We advise our clients based upon an Individual Development Plan used to keep client goals in line with their specific career track.
