Edward La Haye, more commonly known as, “Bingo” is originally from Silicon Valley. He graduated from the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC where he studied business and got a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing. During the latter part of his senior year, he sparked an interest in coding and data analysis, and self-taught himself R.
In June of 2019, he started his career in automated reporting at Health Services for Children with Special Needs Inc. in Washington, DC. He worked under the VP of Predictive Analytics. During his time at HSCSN Bingo worked on large scale reporting and data anomaly
detection. His favorite part of this position was the flexibility of how he could solve complex problems. And later on, he got some experience in SQL and Python.
In his spare time, Bingo likes to learn new programming languages, participate in R community activities and challenges such as “Tidy Tuesday”. He also enjoys running and working out, as well as BBQing on the weekends. Bingo will also try and do some side projects in his spare time to add to his portfolio; you can see all of his projects on his GitHub (Here).
