Data Analyst

Cutting edge sensor technology for robotic vehicles are generating increasingly large volumes of data. Candidate will investigate and collaborate with partners to select/develop new tools to interact with this data, allowing researcher to easily extract and analyze data from large datasets. Additionally, the candidate will work with multidisciplinary team to develop the data analysis pipeline for quick look analysis at the edge as well as in-depth analysis on high performance computing platforms. The successful candidate will work with our team to support the Army Research Laboratory's Robotics Research and Collaboration Campus in White Marsh, Maryland.

The Energetics Technology Center, Inc. (ETC) is seeking a full-time Data Analyst with the following qualifications.


Bachelors or higher



As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will:

  • Curate and maintain sparse datasets
  • Implement and manage pipelines for research and experimental datasets on high performance computing platforms
  • Collaborate with research partners to select/develop the data visualization tools for quick look analysis
  • Perform uncertainty analysis to better understand deficiencies in data and drive improvements in ML models
  • Provide recommendations for applicability of developed models on other autonomous systems problems
  • Collaborate with academic partners to transition work into government entities


You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Eligible for a U.S. Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance
  • Python or C
  • Linux
  • High Performance Computing
  • Data management proficiency -- could be experience with databases, SQL, etc
  • Communications and presentation skills


These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Robotics, mechanical or control systems
  • CAD, such as Solidworks, Autodesk Fusion 360
  • Docker/Singularity Container
