Will Durant leads ETC’s mission to strengthen national security by transforming research into practical, mission-ready solutions for the nation’s defense and energetics communities.

Prior to becoming CEO, Durant managed ETC’s Energetics Science and Technology program, applying machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques to help position ETC as a leading information integrator across the energetics community. His leadership approach centers on building collaborative, mission-driven teams that turn emerging technologies into real operational capability for government partners.

Durant’s technical foundation spans some of the defense community’s most demanding sensing and detection challenges. He spent four years designing, building, and deploying cabled and un-cabled undersea electronic sensor systems for DARPA and the Navy, then went on to serve as technical project lead for ground-based and UAS platform EO/IR systems, delivering onboard processing and multi-spectral threat detection capabilities that support warfighters in the field.

Durant holds a BSEE from the University of South Alabama.
