Robert Kavetsky

CEO & President

Mr. Kavetsky spent 32 years as an engineer in the Department of the Navy, building and running hypersonic wind tunnels, as well as developing undersea weapons. He was appointed the first Warfare Center Liaison to the Office of Naval Research where he established the N-STAR program, a Navy-wide effort aimed at reinvigorating the science and technology community within the Navy’s Warfare Centers. Bob is a proud graduate of Catholic University, where he obtained B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Engineering Administration. He has co-authored 11 books on a wide variety of national defense-oriented topics.

Matthew Riordan

Director of Programs

Mr. Riordan retired from the US Army in March 2018, with 30 years of service. His final assignment was the Division Chief, Operational Contract Support for the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS), Director of Logistics in an effort to reduce risk when incorporating commercial options into military operations. Matt received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Florida, a Master of Arts Degree in Procurement and Management from Webster University, St. Louis, MO, and a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy from the National Defense University, Fort McNair, D.C.

Matthew Martin

Director of Finance and Administration

Mr. Martin has a broad-based background in business and accounting. He started his professional career at Arthur Andersen as an auditor and subsequently moved into Forensic Accounting. In 2005, Matt joined the St. Charles Companies (Southern Maryland’s largest Master Planned Community) serving as their Chief Accounting Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and ultimately President. Matt provided independent consulting services to a variety of clients including the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center, LENNAR, St. Charles (MD) Planning Design Review Board, and ETC. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Messiah College.
